The piece involved in this operation is the wood trim surrounding the electric buttons on the door panel. After removing the piece to be repaired, proceed to fix the issue.

Place the piece under a stream of warm air. Do not overheat as this could damage the paint or, worse, ignite flames. With the heat, the trim straightens back to its original position.

At this point, position simple springs to hold the trim in place and secure it. This operation is performed on a Mercedes CLK.
