Removing the Headrests from a Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W212 - Years 2009-2016

To remove the headrest from the front seats of a Mercedes E-Class, start by positioning yourself in the back seat. Remove the lower cover of the backrest using a flathead screwdriver to disengage the two clips that secure the bottom edge of the panel to the center of the backrest. Grasp the bottom edge and pull down firmly to detach the panel. Disconnect the electrical connector that comes from one of the headrest pins. Using a screwdriver, rotate the locking mechanism at the base of the pin on your left, then pull the headrest upward, being careful of the electrical cable.
