Where is the engine control unit located in the Mercedes GL350?

In this video, you can see where the engine control unit is located in the Mercedes GL350 and how to proceed if you need to replace it, a very simple and quick operation. As shown, the control unit is not positioned in the engine compartment like most vehicles, but is instead located at the rear of the right front wheel arch. To access it, you will need to remove the inner wheel arch cover, which can be done by unscrewing the relevant fixing bolts with a 10mm socket. Ensure you operate with the key removed.
