Resetting the service light on a Mercedes E-Class, as shown in this tutorial, is a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure you have completed all scheduled maintenance tasks. Start by inserting the key and turning it to the first position, then press and hold the indicated button, and a fraction of a second later, press the second button twice in quick succession. Once done, enter "ASSYST PLUS", fully turn on the instrument cluster, and select "Full service". To perform the reset, simply select "Confirm service".
