To reset the ECU of a Mercedes E-Class, completely remove the unit from its housing so it can be connected via the appropriate wiring to a computer. Once the ECU is connected, use the program shown in the tutorial to select the corresponding car model and version.

After entering the correct settings, you can reset all stored errors in the ECU by reinstalling and reconnecting the device to the vehicle.
