How to Remove the Fuel Tank from the Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W124 - Years 1984-1995

In this guide, you will see the main steps to remove and replace the fuel tank on the Mercedes E-Class. First, lift the vehicle and start by unscrewing the drain plug on the tank, allowing all the fuel to drain into a container; then disconnect all the fuel lines, and unscrew the mounting bolts for the brackets to lower the tank from the frame (using a hydraulic jack to remove it), as shown in the video. At this point, install the new fuel tank by applying the reverse procedure!
