Where is the battery located in the Mercedes M-Class?

In this video, you can see where the battery is located in the Mercedes M-Class and how to proceed if you need to replace it. As shown, the battery is not positioned in the classic engine bay housing, but inside the cabin, underneath the passenger seat. To access it and subsequently replace it, first ensure that the key is not inserted, then move the seat fully forward and open the hatch located underneath it. Disconnect the terminals, starting with the negative, unscrew the fastening bolt with a 13 mm spanner, and remove the battery from the housing. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
