How to Unlock the Automatic Transmission in the Mercedes C-Class?

In this tutorial, you will see how to unlock the automatic transmission in the Mercedes C-Class, a very simple operation to perform in case of emergency to shift into neutral. First, detach the cover from the base of the center console, then locate the yellow button positioned just behind the gear lever. Once you have done this, press the button while simultaneously moving the lever to reach the "N" position. Make sure to engage the parking brake; otherwise, the car could move if the ground is not perfectly level.
