In this tutorial, you will see how to unlock the automatic transmission in a Mercedes C-Class. This operation is extremely simple and quick, to be performed in case of an emergency, such as a battery issue.

First, go inside the cabin, then locate the small grille on the center console, right next to the cigarette lighter socket, and pry it off using a flathead screwdriver. Next, insert the screwdriver into the newly exposed hole, leverage it, and simultaneously move the transmission to the desired position.
