To remove the socket, you need to: -Get inside the vehicle; -Lift the lower dashboard where the shifter is located; -Lift the lower dashboard where the socket is located; -Lift the cigarette lighter socket housing; -Disconnect the connector; -Completely remove the socket; Once the socket is removed, you can proceed with the desired maintenance.

To reinstall the socket, follow the same steps in reverse order, being careful not to damage the clips.
