How to remove the cigarette lighter socket of the Mercedes C-Class

Removing the cigarette lighter socket of the Mercedes C-Class follows a fairly simple procedure. To remove the socket we must: - get on board the car; - lift the lower dashboard, where the gearshift is located; - lift the lower dashboard, where the socket is located; - lift the socket compartment; - disconnect the connector; - completely remove the socket; Once the socket is removed, we can proceed with the desired maintenance. To reinsert the socket, we must perform the same procedure carried out for removal but in reverse, being careful not to damage the clips.
