Replacing the Cabin Air Filter in the Mercedes C-Class

On the intake side of the air conditioning system in the Mercedes C-Class, there is a filter to prevent dust from entering the circulation. You need to replace it periodically to ensure you always have clean air. To do this, sit in the front passenger seat, remove the two screws holding the panel under the glove compartment, disconnect the sensor, and unplug the electrical connector attached to it. Open the filter box cover, pull out the old filter, and replace it with a new one. Close the cover, reconnect the connector, and position the sensor. Reinstall the panel and secure it with its screws.
