Replacing the cabin air filter on a Mercedes C-Class? Let's see how to remove it. Open the hood, use a lever to remove the plastic cover on the left side of the engine bay. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the filter cover (where the air filter is located).

Remove the cap from the filter housing with a screwdriver, then pull out the worn cabin air filter.

Insert a new cabin air filter, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the housing. Reinstall the filter housing cap and tighten the latch.

Cover the filter housing with the cover. Close the hood of the car.
