To replace the sunroof on a Mercedes E-Class, push it upward from inside the cabin so that the rear of the sunroof lifts. Once it is raised, locate the screws securing the sunroof on the sides, accessible from the top of the vehicle. When all these screws are loosened, you can completely remove the old sunroof from its housing and insert the new one. Secure it with the side screws and push it down into position.
