In this video we will see how to remove a single seat from the Mercedes Vito, in order to accommodate a wheelchair. This is the seat located at the opening of the sliding door. First, we will need to push the front passenger seat all the way forward to maximize space inside the vehicle. Let's go back to our single seat: we remove the stops, then the headrest, then we push the backrest forward: there are two levers behind to lift it, and further ahead two levers that allow it to be detached from the floor. With two hands we will lift it and take it out of the vehicle. To put it back in place, the hook we see underneath must be in line with the first rod of the rail on the floor; then we bring it back inside the vehicle, put it in the right position, push down the two levers, put the seat back in place, lift up the backrest and put the headrest back in place. Job done.

How to replace the Ford Transit key battery

Below I will explain how to replace the remote control key battery on the car, take a small screwdriver and pry the rear part of the remote control, (where there is the ring), at which point unhook the back cover and yes will have access to the compartment containing the battery. Always with the help of the small screwdriver, proceed to make the va and lift the battery out of the housing. Then take the new battery (check the type) and place it on the housing, always making sure to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. Finally, close the back cover by re-hooking it to the key.
