Adjust the Parking Brake and Remove the Rear Seat.

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

Start by lifting the two sections of the rear seat. Then, using the designated slots, lift and remove the protective cover. With a ratchet wrench, remove the nuts from the cover of the compartment below to access the parking brake mechanism. Clean the inside of any dirt with a cloth. Use a socket wrench to adjust the stop on the lever arm and engage the brake to check for proper operation; if not functioning correctly, repeat the process. Reattach the compartment cover with the nuts and carefully reposition the cover in its designated slots.
