Removing Front Door Panel to Replace Lock

Model: Mercedes Classe E W210 - Years 1995-2002
Part: Door trim panel

Using a plastic tool to avoid damaging the body, remove the covers over the screws and the plastic trim around the opening handle. Unscrew the panel screws and, using the plastic tool, pry around the panel to release the clips. Gently remove the protective trim above the panel by prying between the plastic and the body. Once released, lift the entire panel upward and remove it. Before complete removal, disconnect the opening mechanism and the electrical connections. Remove the plastic clips holding the handle cover on the panel and take it off.
