To reset the radio of the Mercedes E-Class, first you need to find the radio unlock code. The first step to perform the reset is to turn on the instrument panel and use the radio power button to display the word CODE on the screen. Then, using the numeric keys, enter the code and press the RADIO button and the second to last small button at the bottom right of the radio. Once the procedure is complete, the radio will return to normal operation. The code can be found in the vehicle instruction booklet or on the Mercedes Radio code website.
