How do you replace the interior rearview mirror of the Mercedes S-Class?

In order to replace the rearview mirror of the Mercedes S-Class, you need to pry with an object so that you can detach the panel of the courtesy lights located in front of the mirror; once this panel is detached, you can proceed by disconnecting the connectors inside. Then you can proceed by detaching the panel on the back of the mirror, so that the fixing screws of the mirror are visible: by loosening all these screws, you can detach the mirror and replace it with a new one.
