Regularly replacing the air filter that supplies the injection system of the Mercedes A-Class is necessary to ensure a constant and clean airflow. To change it, open the hood of the engine compartment; you will find the filter housing in the center of the compartment.

Using a T20 Torx screwdriver, remove the two screws that secure the cover. Rotate the cover, remove the plastic frame that houses the filter element, and place it on a work surface.

Take out the old filter and replace it with a new one by inserting it into the frame, put it back in its place, close the cover, and secure it with the two screws.
