How do you replace the rear headlight bulb of the Mini Cooper?

Model: Mini Mini R56, R57, R55 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Tail light bulb

In order to replace the rear headlight bulb of the Mini Cooper, you need to pry with an object to detach the chrome trim around the headlight. Once this is detached, you can loosen the screws that secure the headlight assembly to its housing, disconnecting the connectors inside. This will allow you to remove the bulb from inside the headlight assembly, so you can disconnect it from the connector and insert the new one; the headlight can now be repositioned, securing it with the screws and inserting the trim.
