Do you want to disassemble the thermostatic valve of your car yourself? Let's see in the following video where and how to disassemble the thermostat on Mini: remove the soundproofing panel from the engine compartment, then, unscrew the pins on the cap of the thermostat sleeve as in the video (we use a socket wrench with relative bushes), disassemble the compartment of the coolant and extract the coolant thermostat from its seat (after releasing all the pins). Once the piece is removed, let's replace it with a new one. We tighten the pins well and make sure that we have correctly inserted and mounted the valve in the appropriate housing.
