In order to replace the headliner of the Mini Cooper S, you need to loosen all the screws that secure the lining to the top of the roof, so that it can be completely removed: once the fixing screws are removed, you can proceed by detaching the door pillar linings and also removing the interior rearview mirror, the interior light fixture and the handles.

At this point, you can open the rear hatch to remove the headliner from its housing so that it can be replaced with a new replacement piece.
