Operation: How to remove and replace the engine air filter on a Mini

Let's see how to remove and replace the engine air filter on a Mini: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment opening lever at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, secure the same with the 'dipstick. We remove the soundproofing panel of the engine (if necessary), then, we open the air kit (we unscrew the tightening screws with a screwdriver), we uncover the cap of the box and extract the worn air filter. We insert a new filter in the dedicated housing (making it adhere well around the walls). Finally we reassemble the cap of the air box and tighten the screws. We close the front hood at the end of the maintenance.
