How to Change the Battery of the Mini Cooper Remote

Replacing the battery of the Mini Cooper key/remote is a straightforward task. Take a small screwdriver and use it as a lever to open the small cover found on the back of the key/remote (the side opposite to where the buttons are located). Once the small cover is open, you will find the battery to be replaced inside. Use the same screwdriver to pry it out of its housing and replace it with a new one. Refit the cover in its place and check the operation of the remote. That’s it!
