To replace the starter motor on an Audi A4, loosen the screws that secure it to its housing: this is located in the lower right part of the engine compartment, relative to the engine block. The starter engages directly with the flywheel, and to remove it, you will need to loosen the screws that hold it to the corresponding supports and then disconnect the connectors.

Once the old starter is freed, you can insert the new one into its place to ensure everything works.
