How to Remove the Starter Motor from the Audi A4

Model: Audi A4 B7 - Years 2004-2008

To remove the starter motor from the Audi A4, open the hood and disconnect the battery terminals. Next, remove the soundproofing panel from the engine by unscrewing all the fastening bolts around the engine. Once the bolts are removed, take out the engine and proceed to remove the starter motor located beneath it. Insert the new starter motor into its housing and then reinstall all the previously removed parts onto the vehicle. Close the hood and test for proper operation.
