Replacing the gear knob on a Mini

Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014

Do you want to replace the gear knob mounted on a Mini brand car? Let's see how to proceed with the disassembly: to begin with, take the knob in your hands and rotate it to the left and right until it is removed from the shift rod (twist type). We disconnect the frame of the leather cap with a plastic lever. To carry out the assembly: mount the new leather cap with the clips (if disassembled), then take the new knob and insert it into the rod on the central tunnel until it is tightened in the rod. Finally, we test the correct assembly of the knob with the movement of the rod on the central tunnel.

How to Replace the Fuel Pump on an Opel Corsa C

Usually, upon the first ignition of the dashboard, a sound similar to a spray can be heard from the rear of the cabin: this is the fuel pump pressurising the system and preparing to supply fuel to the engine for ignition; if this sound is not heard, start by checking the integrity of the relevant power fuse, and if it is intact, verify that voltage reaches the power connector; if current is present, you can also try powering the pump directly to confirm it is faulty; replacing it is very simple, just disconnect the connector and hoses, then unclip the retaining ring and remove it to replace it with a new one.
