Replacing the Steering Wheel on a Mini

Is the steering wheel on your Mini damaged? Here’s how to remove it from the steering column. Insert a medium-length screwdriver into the side slots on the plastic of the steering wheel and unscrew the securing screws. Once the pins are removed, disconnect the airbag and its power connector. Use a spanner to unscrew the pin on the steering wheel, then pull it off the steering column. For reassembly, connect the power connector, then insert the steering wheel onto the steering column, press it down until it fits, and screw in the securing screws. Test the steering wheel's functionality.
