Removing the External Wing Mirror

The components of the external wing mirror are the cover and the internal mirror: both are clipped in and can be removed by disengaging them; however, take care as the plastic fixing tabs are very thin and delicate, especially if the vehicle has been outside in the cold for a long time (you may warm them with a hairdryer).

If you wish to completely remove the mirror from the door, rotate the mirror 90° to access the fixing screws: this will reveal the two Torx screws.
