Operation: Replacement of the Mini starter motor

We replace the starter motor from inside the Mini's engine compartment if it is damaged. We raise the front hood to access the starter motor. We disconnect the battery clamps for safety. We locate the starter motor, disconnect the starter motor power supply terminals with pliers or screwdriver depending on the pressure of the tabs, unscrew the starter motor locking pins with a socket wrench and remove it from the engine compartment. We assemble the new ignition motor with the connection of the power supply cables and with the attached tightening screws. Before mounting the various covers, let's make sure that the motor works.
