To replace the starter motor on a Mini, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. First, disconnect the battery and remove its securing bolts to completely take out the device. Below it, you will find the starter motor, which must be removed from its housing by loosening the bolts that secure it and disconnecting the connectors. Once the device is freed, insert the new one, connecting and securing it properly.
