Operation: How to replace the steering wheel of a Mini Cooper

Before we can start, we will have to disconnect the battery, so as to work in total safety, and then we will have to go and sit in the driver's seat of our Mini Cooper. So let's start by unscrewing and removing the rear Torx screws that secure the airbag to the steering wheel. After that, we will have to move the airbag slightly away from its housing in the steering wheel, and then disconnect the internal plug. At this point, we will have to unscrew and remove the central nut that secures the steering wheel to the steering column, and then remove the steering wheel itself, and we will have finished the disassembly. To fit the new steering wheel, we will just have to follow these steps in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.

Let's see below how it is possible to reset the low tire pressure signal on the car: first of all it is necessary to check the correct tire pressure by comparing it with the pressures reported in the use and maintenance manual. After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display.
