How to change the remote control battery on Mini Cooper F56

Model: Mini Mini F55, F56, F57, F54 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Key

In this guide we will see the instructions to be able to disassemble and replace the key remote control battery on a Mini Cooper F56, in simple steps. First of all, we take our remote control in hand and we go to pry the sides of the rear cover, using a very thin lever, in order to remove it; then we access the battery compartment, as shown in the video. At this point we remove and replace the battery with the new one, of the right type (in this case a 3V CR 2032); we just have to insert it correctly and fix the rear plastic cover again!

How to Replace the Boot Compartment Light Bulb on a Peugeot 208

If you want to improve visibility inside the boot compartment, it is recommended to replace the original incandescent bulb with a LED type (T10 fitting); once the rear hatch is opened, locate the bulb holder positioned on the side, near the shock absorber dome, where the plastic grille is located. Then, lever the retaining tab to extract the bulb holder, disconnect the power connector, and remove the old bulb to replace it with the LED one; reconnect the power, check the correct operation of the bulb (if not, rotate it 180°), and reposition the bulb holder in its place.
