How to Remove the Door Handle of a Mini Cooper R56

This guide covers the removal of the external handle of the Mini Cooper along with the door cover panel. Disconnect the battery terminals, open the car door, and use a lever to remove the plastic cover of the internal opening lever: unscrew the retaining screws located inside, then unscrew the screws around the entire cover panel. Detach the various cover pieces from the door panel, disconnect any power and release cable connectors. Once the cover panel is removed, unscrew the retaining screws of the handle.
