How to replace the remote control battery of the Mini Cooper?

Model: Mini Mini F55, F56, F57, F54 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Key

After a few years of use, the Mini Cooper remote control battery will reach the end of its life and we will have to replace it, which is very simple. We start by removing the metal key, and with a small tool, such as a flat-tipped screwdriver, we remove the plastic cover with the inscription Mini. We can now see a second small plug placed on the remote control motherboard. Again with the help of the screwdriver, we gently lift this cap without damaging the electronics. At this point the battery will be free to be replaced with an equivalent model, CR2032.

How to Replace the Battery on a Volkswagen Polo

When your vehicle won't start and makes noises similar to electrical contacts, the cause is likely the battery. Release the bonnet using the appropriate lever and lift it to secure it with the prop rod. First, check the condition of your battery, then disconnect the terminals, starting with the negative one. Next, unclip the brackets securing the battery on both sides, then unscrew the bolts on the sides of the battery base to remove the brackets holding it in place. Install the new battery, and you're done!
