How to Open the Car Door with a Flat Battery

In this video, you will see how to open a car door with a flat battery. If your car battery is flat, the remote door opener will not work. Therefore, the key blade inside the remote will not work even if you try to use the handle. The only way to open the door with the remote or the key blade inside is to restore power. Connect a lead between the battery and the starter cable. Then lift the front wheels of the car with a jack and position axle stands for safety. Use jump leads to restore power through the starter motor. At this point, connect the positive terminal to the positive terminal of the starter. Connect the negative terminal to earth. This will restore power to the car, and the remote will start working again.
