To open the bonnet of a Mini, you need to open the driver's door, sit in the driver's seat, and locate the lever at the bottom under the dashboard on the left near the door. Pull it towards you twice consecutively, then exit the cabin, move to the front of the vehicle, and lift the bonnet with your hands to its maximum height. To open just the rear hatch with the key fob, press the central button on the key and hold it for a few seconds; the rear hatch will then be unlocked, allowing you to open it by lifting it with your hands.
