To replace the remote battery on a Mini Cooper, pry open the back of the remote to remove the plastic cover with the brand logo. Once the cover is removed, detach the circular plastic lid underneath to access the battery. The old battery can now be removed from its housing and replaced with a new one. After installing the new battery, cover it with the circular lid and reattach the plastic back cover.
