How to open the hood of the Mini that was stuck on one side.
In this video, we see how to open the hood of our Mini even when the cables do not release the hood locks. In fact, only one of the two clips is released, so the hood does not open. If we try to pull the cable from the side where the hood does not open, we do not hear the typical sound of the hood being released. Therefore, we try to pull it manually from the hole located in the wheel well. But to solve the problem, instead of changing the cable, the solution is to add a small thickness, like a nylon washer, which is inserted from the front simply by making a small cut, without disassembling anything. With this small cut, we put it on the head of the cable, which thus acquires a small thickness and will allow the cable to open normally.

This video shows how to remove an EGR valve from a Land Rover Freelander. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe, removing the piece from the engine bay. Start unscrewing the fixing pins of the EGR valve as shown in the video. Once the piece is removed from its seat, unscrew the screws present on it with a screwdriver.
