How to Remove the Steering Wheel from the Mini One

Model: Mini Mini R57, R55, R56 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Steering wheel

Lift the bonnet and disconnect the battery to avoid damaging electrical components. Next, remove the two bolts located in the holes behind the steering wheel, one on each side. This allows you to remove the central part of the steering wheel. Be careful to disconnect the two connectors before fully removing it. Now, after marking the position of the steering wheel relative to its central shaft with a marker, you can unscrew and remove it. Then, with gentle pulls, extract the steering wheel.

How to Remove the Mirror Cap on a Toyota Auris

How to proceed with the removal of the mirror cap on a Toyota Auris? Use a plastic lever to detach the mirror cap and the mirror itself. Pry until the cover comes off the mirror (this operation is very delicate as it may break). Once the piece is removed, take out the side indicator (for replacement), and you can replace it with the new one. Refit the new mirror cover by inserting it into the mirror and securing the plastic with the appropriate clips. Check the correct functioning of the part.
