How to Remove the Sport and DCS Switches

Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Dashboard

Start this guide by removing the gear lever support. Once done, fully slide it out. Next, unscrew the cup holder located at the rear of the cabin. Now proceed to remove the handbrake by disconnecting the cables underneath the support. After removing it, unscrew the front screws to gain more space for removing the switches. Move to a table for more room. First, unscrew the screws that secure it to the support. Once this is complete, reassemble all the parts, and the job is finished.

Want to remove the spark plugs from your Mercedes? Let's see how to do it in this video. Pull the hood release lever and lift the front hood, then secure it. You will find the coils under the metal soundproofing panel covering the engine. Remove the panel with a socket wrench and take it off.
