In this video, you will learn how to reinitialize the electric window mechanism on a Mini R50. This may be necessary if, for any reason, you have disconnected the battery and the windows - which do not have side pillars - do not allow the glass to move up and down when the doors are opened or closed. The glass does not seal properly, so it is important to set the correct upper and lower stop points. Turn on the ignition, and with both windows closed, press both electric window switches for a couple of seconds, then release. This will restore the correct stop position.
