How to Replace the Auxiliary Belt on a MINI R53

In this video, you will see how to replace the auxiliary belt on a Mini R53: to access the belt, you need to make some space by removing certain components. Now, insert the key into the hole to loosen the belt, but you must also remove the wheel and the wheel arch liner for better access to the belt from underneath.

You can then remove it quickly; if you do not have a technical drawing handy to reinstall it, it would be a good idea to take a photo to ensure you put it back correctly. Also, check that the belt has a direction of rotation to ensure it is placed correctly.

Remove the key used to loosen the belt and make a clockwise turn.
