In this tutorial, you will see how to change the engine oil in the Mini Cooper, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the engine is sufficiently cool, then open the bonnet, locate the filter on the left side, and unscrew the housing with a 27mm socket.

Next, go underneath the vehicle, taking all necessary safety precautions, unscrew the drain plug with an 8mm hex key, and allow all the oil in the system to drain out. At this point, simply reassemble everything and pour in the new oil through the designated opening.
