Operation: How to disassemble the glow plugs of a Mini

Have you ever disassembled the glow plugs of your Mini? Do you think it is difficult? Let's see how to do it together. We open the engine compartment putting it in safety and identify where to go to intervene. We pull up the plastic rod and disconnect the power supply terminal, then, with a rotating movement, slide the glow plug connector up from the engine head. We blow the hole with compressed air to eliminate any residues that are dangerous for our engine. With a socket wrench and suitable insert we go to unscrew the glow plug and with the help of a magnet let's fish it up. We install the new glow plug in the head, we always tighten with a torque wrench without forcing too much. We mount the connector with the respective plug. We carry out this procedure for all the glow plugs to be disassembled.
