Want to replace the gear knob on a Mitsubishi Outlander? This video shows you how to proceed. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if you need to replace it); unscrew the knob until it is removed from the gear stick. For the installation, take the new knob and slide it onto the stick in the centre console, tightening it onto the stick (position the knob with the numbers horizontally); fit the new leather gaiter with the clips (if previously removed). Finally, test the correct installation of the knob by moving the stick in the centre console.
