Replacing the gear knob on your Mitsubishi Lancer X is very simple, and with the instructions in this mini guide, you will complete the entire operation quickly and without difficulty. First, switch off the car and park it on a flat surface.

Hold the gear lever steady and unscrew the knob by turning it anti-clockwise. Once removed, take the new knob and insert it into the mechanism.

Turn it clockwise until it is securely fastened, and finally, check personally that it is firmly in place during gear changes.
