How to Replace the Brake Pads on a Nissan Juke

Replacing the brake pads is a maintenance task you can easily do yourself, but you must observe some precautions starting with lifting the vehicle; first, before lifting the car, slightly loosen the wheel fastening bolts, then lift the vehicle using a jack in the designated area and apply axle stands; then complete the wheel removal to access the caliper, unscrew the respective fastening bolts to detach it from its support and extract the old pads; clean the sliding plates, insert the new pads, retract the caliper piston using a C-clamp and reassemble the caliper, then remount the wheel, lower the vehicle and complete the tightening of the wheel bolts; pay attention during the first braking.
