How to remove the steering wheel of the Nissan Qashqai

In the following article, we will explain how to replace the steering wheel of the Nissan Qashqai. For this operation, you will need a small screwdriver and a 17mm socket wrench. To disassemble the steering wheel, you must first remove the airbag. To do this, you must first press on the fastening clips located on the 2 sides of the steering wheel and underneath in the central part using the screwdriver. While pressing on the last clip, gently pull the airbag outwards. Once removed, you must disconnect the cables connected to it. After removing the airbag cables, you must remove the central bolt of the steering wheel using the socket wrench. After removing the bolt, you must remove the cables. To do this, press on the plastic clip fastening and remove the cables. Once disconnected, remove the steering wheel. At this point, you can replace the steering wheel.
