Removing Steering Wheel Controls and Airbag on Nissan Qashqai

Today, we will look at the main steps to remove the steering wheel controls and airbag from a first series Nissan Qashqai. First, get inside the vehicle and use a screwdriver to remove the screw located on the side of the steering wheel: then detach the central part (the airbag) and disconnect the electrical connectors found at the back. At this point, you have also removed the steering wheel controls: to extract them, pry them off while disconnecting the electrical connectors without damaging the buttons.
